Birds of Prey

A visit to the school by the Welsh Bird of Prey Centre.
The children were given the opportunity to hold the birds of prey.

Open Evening

During the open evening at school, children demonstrated their science skills applying to 'Force'.
Among other things, they introduced parents to their nature club, made helicopters and made rafts from a single sheet of A4 paper - one raft stayed afloat when loaded with 84 marbles!

Famous Houses

The children researched famous houses, and presented their findings to the class.

Our Tudor/Stuart Court House

We looked at the differences between the lives of rich and poor people in Tudor times.

We will be visiting Llancaich Fawr soon to look at the homes and lives of Rich people at this time.

The children re-enacted life in court at the court house in Llancaiach Fawr. Next term we will be looking closely at Crime and Punishment
