Techniquest

During the last week of term all of the children in year 3 and 4 visited Tehcniquest. It was an enjoyable day out and there were lots of fun activities to explore. The children were given the challenge to look for forces and were amazed to see that every exhibit in Techniquest worked using forces.

World book day

It was World Book Day on Thursday and we had a great day in Year 4. The children all made a fantastic effort with their costumes and so did the teachers. We talked about our favourite authors and books. We visited the World Book Day website and watched videos of famous authors talking about writing stories, the videos gave us lots of great tips. To finish the day we had to guess which teacher was hiding behind each book, it was very tricky!!
