Children working in pairs to develop a series of movements to include the body shapes learnt earlier in their gymnastic lessons. They used thinking skills to identify what worked and what didn't. They then began to suggest how the process could be improved.

Enquiry Skills
The children played a science enquiry game. They had to decide which type of enquiry was needed to solve scientific problems - to classify, use a fair test, conduct a survey or measure over time. They used thinking skills.

St Lucia Project



The children decided for themselves where they thought some of the main features in St Lucia would be, such as tourist areas, villages and the airport etc. They discussed this giving their reasons. They later checked their placings against the actual map of St. Lucia. This involved asking questions and linking ideas - communication skills.
